Dana and Scott's was one of YummyYards first projects, and was definitely a fun one!  With three younger kids, limited space, and an easy-to-work with client attitude, we created a beautiful space.  Here are some of the elements that we incorporated:

  • veggies

  • fruit- an apple and cherry tree, raspberries, gooseberry

  • garden beds specifically for the kids

  • a cut flower garden

  • a small lawn for picnics and barefoot connections

  • a dry river bed to slow the water coming from the gutter

  • a natural sand box under the cherry tree

It was great to work on this project over a few years to see how the plants morphed and flourished.  I can't wait to get back some time this season and see how it's going :)
