Connecting Community
to the Land

We believe in providing enriching and collaborative learning experiences that will leave a lasting impact. Through our gardening education resources, we can provide the knowledge and guidance necessary to create environmental stewards and educated, successful gardeners. With our guidance, your participants will gain a wealth of knowledge about gardening, allowing them to develop the skills they need to create and maintain sustainable and healthy outdoor spaces.

Teaching and sharing information with people is one of my biggest passions. As a lifelong learner and seeker of information, I know how important it is to have access to knowledge and resources. Embedded in a larger community of educators and earth stewards, we have a vast network of people ready to help you reach your education goals.

Teaching is Our Passion

Education Background

I have been an educator and learner my entire life, as most of us are. In college, I signed up for an Environmental Education class. That was the beginning of a new direction in engaging with my love for nature. Soon I took a permaculture teacher training course. Serendipitously, I started working with a non-profit in elementary school garden design, implementation and programing. Fast forward and I have worked with thousands of students at almost 20 schools.

On the adult side of education, I started facilitating and teaching permaculture design courses at the Lyons Farmette in 2009. Since then, I worked with permaculture design teams at the Growhaus (Denver), the University of Colorado, Wild Abundance (Asheville, NC), the Yoga Farm (Costa Rica), the Source Foundation (Jamaica) and Lenoir Rhyne University (Asheville, NC).
I have also led various garden segments for the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, the Organic Growers School, and Reems Creek Nursery.

Teaching is my passion. I am here to work with you as an individual or support your organization in gaining access to more knowledge from this incredible community.
